QUALITY COMMITMENT

Mettecno 2000 seeks to satisfy the needs and expectations of its customers, complying with legal or regulatory requirements that apply and those required by the customer, always moving towards continuous improvement of processes and products. Due to its commitment to the environment, it seeks that the processes and procedures necessary for the development of its activities cause the minimum possible environmental impact.

Our Integrated Management System (Quality and Environment), certified according to ISO 14001:2015, in the environmental section ensures that:

• We have a system in place to update applicable Environmental Legislation and identify applicable requirements for our activity.
• We periodically evaluate environmental aspects from a product life cycle perspective, identifying which aspects are significant.
• We analyze risks and opportunities related to environmental aspects, legal requirements applicable to us and other requirements agreed with other stakeholders, establishing an Action Plan to address risks and exploit opportunities.
• We perform adequate operational control of identified environmental aspects.
• We have established and implemented procedures for responding to possible environmental emergencies.

Through all these actions we want to do our bit in reducing CO2 emissions and therefore reducing our carbon footprint. This year we continue with actions to reduce the generation of hazardous waste and optimize the use of energy resources. We also have information available to interested parties that request it about the indicated aspects and about our environmental performance.

We are committed to fighting climate change and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.

Within the framework of SDG 13 "Climate Action", its commitment to reducing GHG emissions and contributing to the fight against climate change stands out, through first reducing organizational carbon footprint and then compensation.

The Sustainable Development Goals, also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by all Member States in 2015 as a universal call to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.

The 17 SDGs are integrated, recognizing that interventions in one área will affect outcomes in others and that development must balance environmental, economic and social sustainability.

Below is a summary of how Mettecno 2000 contributes its grain of sand to the achievement of these ambitious objectives of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

In our facilities we have a metrology room where we perform all the tests and measurements necessary to ensure that the final product meets customer requirements and expectations. We have a CMM arm with which we perform 3D measurement reports for those references that are difficult to check and for all those requested by our customers. We also have a scanner for digitizing tubes, and a wide range of micrometers for both internal and external measurements. On the other hand, at the production line we work with pass/no-pass gauges and special gauges for on-site verification during production.
